Overkill tuning is a complete and thorough recalibration of the engine and transmission computers, with a focus on improving performance and also improving how your vehicle drives. I've focused my efforts on the 87 octane tune on these big SUVs, so you don't need premium fuel to improve accelerating with a fully loaded cabin, climbing a mountainous terrain, or pulling a boat or camper. However if you have access to and understand the benefits of E85, also look at the flex fuel conversion kit to allow you to run E85 ethanol fuel, exclusive to the market through Overkill! The transmission behaviour will be sporty but comfortable. There are calibration improvements beyond performance, such as improving knock sensor response time, curiously poor in the factory calibration, which will improve engine life over time.

The only intake on the market for the 2012+ Acadia/Traverse/Enclave! This replaces your factory air filter housing, tubing and MAF sensor with new larger tubing, larger MAF housing and a large cone air filter. What's simple is often what works great, the larger diameter components here improve flow over the smaller 3" factory counterparts, and this intake adds a dyno tested 15 lbs-ft torque gain! Also adds a great engine tone while accelerating.

Tip: This intake REQUIRES Overkill tuning to account for the larger MAF sensor size. This intake will also fit both the factory throttle body and our larger 80mm throttle body offering!

The only larger throttle body for the 2012+ 3.6 is available here at Overkill. The factory throttle body is 72mm. Our 80mm throttle body solution dwarfs the stock unit and bolts directly to your intake manifold which already has a 79.5mm inlet to take full advantage of this larger throttle body, or rather this throttle body takes full advantage of the intake manifold's flow capabilities! One of the best upgrades you can do beyond our tune, this throttle body setup will improve horsepower at a dyno tested 11+ wheel horsepower, improves throttle response (particularly with Overkill tuning) and changes the intake note of the V6 to a deeper growl at heavy throttle.

Throttle body is a brand new unit, comes with an aluminum adapter plate and stainless steel bolts.

This intake manifold spacer, made by our friends at Jacfab, goes between the upper and lower manifolds. Unlike a comparatively useless throttle body spacer, this spacer extends the length of each individual intake runner length by 3/4". This, along with the increased intake manifold volume, results in dyno tested torque gains of 7-15 lbs-ft through the mid and upper rpm range, just what this big SUV needs. A straight forward installation and great bang for your buck.

Tip: Maximizes its gains when done with or after Overkill tuning and our intake system.






An exclusive to Overkill, because we specialize in the GM Direction Injection V6 family, is this retrofit kit for your SUV. Some 2012+ 3.6s are flex fuel enabled and others aren't. Overkill pioneered retrofitting those that aren't, beginning with this kit for the Acadia/Enclave/Traverse. Once installed and tuned, you'll be able to fill up with E85 ethanol and switch back and forth to gasoline as you desire. Running E85 ethanol with our flex fuel calibration brings a significant boost in torque and overall performance, with 10-15 horsepower gains over 93 octane gasoline and well over 20+ versus 87 octane tuning, and yes you can switch between 87 gasoline and E85 with our flex fuel kit.

Kit includes an OEM "fuel content" sensor from another GM application, high quality fuel line and fittings to plumb the sensor into the fuel line, and a wiring harness that allows easy installation with one inline plug and play connection and a simple pin addition into your engine computer connector.
